He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Hayden; his wife Carrie; his siblings, Samuel (Emma) and Dorothy McBride (James); his siblings-in-law, Irma Parker (Donald) and John Fream; his granddaughter Amanda Reynolds; and his great grandchild Grace Reynolds.
He is survived by: his parent Grace Hayden (Plummer); his sons, Robert (Elaine) of Sooke, Richard (Lynne) of Scottsdale, Brian (Susan) of Woodstock and Brent (Pamela) of Lake City; and his sister-in-law Greta Fream of Calgary. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great–grandchildren.
