Jean Mary Colwell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Mary Colwell (Woodstock, New Brunswick), born in Evesham, West Midlands, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Nelson Colwell (Bud); her parents, Albert Chambers and Nellie Chambers; her brother Greville Chambers; her sister-in-law Avis Chambers; her sister Kathleen Coy; and her brother-in-law William Coy (Willie).
She is survived by: her children, Greg Colwell (Jackie) and Debby; her grandchildren, Lindsay Everett (Ryan), Jeffrey Matthews (Jenn), Jennifer Colwell (Chad) and Jaime Gordon (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Isaak, Aleah, Elijah Everett, Paige, Keean Matthews, Brody, Jesse Barber and Addison Gordon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in her memory, if you wish, can be to St. James United Church of Canada (Sunday School Fund), or the Carleton County Animal Shelter because of her lifelong love of dogs or the Extra Mural Program because of the phenomenal care and compassion that they gave not only to Jean, but her family as well.
