He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Hatt and Jennie Hatt (Todd); his siblings, Arthur Hatt (Lilian), Richard Hatt and Carrie Walker (Raymond); his sister-in-law Margaret Hatt; and his mother-in-law Margaret Seymour.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Pamela Burtt (Michael) of Saint John and Andrew Hatt (Ellen) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Levi Burtt (Julie) and Rachael Burtt of Saint John; his brother Robert Hatt of Quispamsis; and his sister-in-law Frances Hatt of Riverview. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
