She was predeceased by: her parents, George Armstrong and Merne Armstrong (Kirkpatrick); her daughter Ivy Rose; her former husband Roy Doherty; her husband Amos Thompson; and her siblings, Irene Rodgers and Earle Armstrong.
She is survived by: her son Steven Doherty of Sussex.
