He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thompson and Cathleen Thompson (Brown); his brother Tony; and his niece Lisa. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Joesph (Christa) of Ingersoll, Stephen of Penobsquis, Richard (Cheryl) of Belleisle Creek and Nicole Quigley of Durham, Ontario; his brother Clive Thompson of Saint John; his sister-in-law Linda Thompson; and his grandchildren, Aidan, Olivia, Kylie, Brianna, Nicholas and Kristen.
