She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Monahan and Katherine Monahan (Durham); her husband George Brown; and her siblings, Leonard Monahan, Ambrose Monahan, William Monahan (Bill), Kathleen Cummings, Mary Ellen Hourihan (Nellie), Irene Monahan and Grace Mercer.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Brown (Barb) of Apohaqui, Marsha Burgess (Earle) of Apohaqui, Ruth Brown of Florida, Russell Brown (Sue) of Apohaqui, Walter Brown of Apohaqui, Donna Hopper of Apohaqui, Donnie Brown (Joy) of Apohaqui, Martha Thompson (Dennis), Maryellen Gaunce (Gary) of Grand Bay, Joan Brown and Margaret McCarthy of Fredericton; her brother Raymond Monahan; her grandchildren, Beverly DeWinter (Durck) of Sussex, Bobbi Chestnut (Jaret) of Apohaqui, Rick Burgess, Jaime Dettweiler of Urney, Christy Bernier (Serge) of Apohaqui, Stephen Brown of Apohaqui, Laura Janes (David) of Nerepis, Kelsey Levenshulme (Michael), Matthew Brown of Halifax, Lucas Brown and Jeremiah Gaunce of Grand Bay; and her great grandchildren, Colton (Lauren), Cameron, Lindsay, Alex, Jayden, Riley, Will, Ashlynn, Geneviève, Ethan, Liam, Olivia, Georgia and Emmery. She is also survived by one great-great grandson; as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
