He was predeceased by: his father Lou Galpin David; and his daughter Sarah McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Galpin (McKee); his mother Sylvia Galpin; his brother Llewellyn Galpin (Cheryl) of Halifax; his parents-in-law, Janet and Elwin McKee of Sussex; and his children, Marsha Duncan (Wade) of Moncton, Tabatha Chambers (Rick) of Halifax, Jennifer Wilson (Steve) of Hampton, Christina Hayward (Jason) of Saint John, Jen Allaby (Dale) of Grand Manan, Angela Galpin of St. Martins, Mitchell Galpin (Melissa) of Ontario and Noah McNally of Saint John. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of David's life will be held on a later date with a gathering at his home in Sussex.
