He was predeceased by: his father Bert Boyd; his brother Gordon Boyd; his granddaughter Allyson Mayfield; and his sister Karen Boyd. He is survived by: his mother Helen Boyd (Strachan); his wife Ruth Boyd (Warner); his children, Daniel Boyd (Meagan), Cathy Hayes (Peter) of Mount Pearl, NL, Angela Boyd of Dieppe, NB and Barbara Crowe (David) of Smiths Creek, NB; his grandchildren, Philip (Emma), Brittany, Andrew (Shavelle), Timothy (Kayleigh), Makaila, Seth, Abbygail, Tyson, Cody, James, Lily (Spencer), Isabella and Arthur; his great grandchildren, Paul, Zachary and Benjamin; and his siblings, John Boyd and Lorraine Brown (Thurland). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately.
