She was predeceased by: her husband James Duffy of Sussex; her parents, Charles Burgess and Ella Burgess (Yeomans); and her siblings, Mary Forestall and Charles Burgess.

She is survived by: her daughter Verna (Barry Grenchuk) of Windsor Junction, NS. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
