It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Sakell (Sussex, New Brunswick), born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sakell and Veronica Sakell (Kupiec); his siblings, Peter Sakell and Barbara Marchand (Pete); and his siblings-in-law, Reintraud McEwen, Brent McEwen (Jane), Douglas McEwen, Cyril McEwen and Blair McEwen.

He is survived by: his wife Eve (Eveyln McEwen); his sons, Nick Sakell (Daneca) of Berwick, Robert Sakell (Sandra DiBonaventura) of Sussex, Scott Sakell (Courtney) of Havelock and Jamey Morris of Texas; his grandchildren, Logan, Nathan, Dominic, Jayden, Christian, Leta, Devin, Tanita, Vanessa and James; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Sakell, Trena Adair (Winston), Jane McEwen, Laura McEwen, Glen McEwen (Diane), Ross McEwen and Dennis McEwen.
