She was predeceased by: her husband Emery Benson; her parents, Harvey Bannister and Helen (McGivery); and her stepfather Harold McGivery. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Veinot and Angela Chase (Brian) of Hatfield Point, NB; the father of her children Ross Veinot; and her grandsons, Ross and Marcus Veinot.
