He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Buchanan and Theresa Buchanan; and his brother Mike Moore. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brookelyn and Avery; his sons, Shane Buchanan of Moncton and Ryan Buchanan of Rusagonis; his siblings, Darlene McPhee, Linda Hardin, Ann Hardin, Ronnie Hardin and Charlie Hardin; and his grandchildren, Isabelle (Avery), Tim and Noble (Albert).
