He was predeceased by: his parents, Edouard Maillet and Elmina Maillet (Babineau); his wife Thérèse; and his siblings, Louise, Marguerite, Yvette, Noëlla, Calixte, Alfred, Léandre and Alphée.

He is survived by: his sons, David (Monique) of Dieppe and Mike (Renée) of Shediac; his grandchildren, Dawson and Hayley; his stepgranddaughter Carlie; his close friend Louise Leblanc of Shediac; his siblings, Loretta Allain (late Laurie), Rezeda Maillet (late Alias), Jeannita Boucher (Léo), Jean Maillet (Odette), Emilienne Bastarache (late Eric), Florence LeBlanc (Roméo), Roméo Maillet (late Paul), Stella Carlson (late Albert) and Simonne Maillet; and his brother-in-law Raymond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
