She was predeceased by: her parent Edgar Armstrong; her nephew Wayne Armstrong (Brenda) of Petitcodiac; and her brothers, Ralph, Lloyd and Alton.

She is survived by: her parent Sarah Armstrong (McFarland); her siblings, Curtis (Joan) of Sussex Corner and Edith Armstrong (late Alton) of Salisbury; and her nieces and nephews, Gail MacLeod (Brent) of Salisbury, Dianne Lawson (Wes) of Riverview, David Armstrong (Faye) of Petitcodiac and Ron Armstrong of Mont Eagle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to St. Georges Anglican Church.
