She was predeceased by: her parent Claude Beaman; her husband Vincent (Cork); her parents-in-law, Elaine Carr and Richard Carr (Dick); and her siblings-in-law, Max Carr and Joanne Doucette.

She is survived by: her parent Gertrude Beaman (Colpitts); her children, Vicki Carr and Cory of Moncton; her grandchildren, Taylor and Colby; her siblings, Joyce Colpitts (Howe) of Synton, Dale Beaman of Salisbury and Doug Beaman (Dawn) of Roachville; and also Babineau. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's memory to the Greater Moncton SPCA or the War Amps.
