With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colin Robert Hume of Ritchie, New Brunswick, born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father-in-law Elbert Ritchie; his stepfather Roger Kitchen; and his brother-in-law Dean Porter. He is survived by : his wife Heidi Hume (Ritchie); his daughters, Mariah Hume (Jaden) and Meghan Hume; his parents, Robert Hume (Annette) and Marjory Hume (late Roger); his siblings, Jennifer Hume (Donny), Susan Hume-MacFarlane (Bill), Stephen Hume (Diane) and Everett Hume (Brianna); his nieces and nephews, Josh, Kristen, Sam, Madi, Hailey, Jameson, Levi, Owen and Athena; his mother-in-law Winona Ritchie; his siblings-in-law, Gary Ritchie (Jean), Terry Ritchie (Tammy), Cindy Graham (Larry), Mary MacFarlane (Vince), Carrie Heppell (Yves) and Shelley Porter (Dale); his nieces and nephews, Scott, Bruce, Douglas, Ruthie, Darrell, Tyler, Dustin, Amy, Samantha, Natalie, Céline, Colton and Frankie; and his friend Josh McClellan.
