It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marguerite MacKinnon (New Bandon Northumb Co, New Brunswick), born in McAdam, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore McIntyre and Verna McIntyre (Murtha); her siblings, Mary, Vera, James "Mac" McIntyre and Ted McIntyre; and her son-in-law Mike Estey.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas J. MacKinnon; her children, Jim MacKinnon (Tammy), Kevin MacKinnon, Gail Estey, Mary Lee Delong (Clifton) and Jodi MacKinnon (Marty Hood); her grandchildren, Jesse, Kalene and Rhiley; her stepgrandchildren, Lindsay, Candice and Kendra; her great grandchildren, Sandy and Serenity; her great great grandchildren, Storm, Yasmine, Willow, Oakley, Kian, Spencer and Soren; and her sisters, Donna Styant, Bette Tucker and Maureen McIntyre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Shirley enjoyed bowling, darts, cards and bingo until she was stricken with Alzheimer's.
