He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Godreau and Marguerite Lavoie Godreau; his children, Gary and Deborah; his grandchild Ashley Peterson; his wife Catherine (Brymer); his sister Jean Thompson; his children, Allison Godreau (Cassandra), David Godreau and Sandra Clark (Rick); his grandchildren, Alesha, Matthew, Erica, Shawn and Christina; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Elliot, Emma, Elizabeth, Josh and Cloey. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
