He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Roy and Hedweidge Roy (Doucet); and his brother Ronnie. He is survived by: his wife Sylbie; his children, Michelle Edey (Dan), Geoffrey Roy and Tanya Roy; his grandsons, Christopher Edey (Alicia Bergman) and Matthew Edey (Megan); his great grandchild Ezra Edey; his siblings, Raymond Roy (Sue), Thelma Roy (Barry Hayward), Annette Moore (Stephen) and Paul Roy (Elsa); and his pet Milly. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
