It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willard Boyd (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Chipman, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Boyd and Matilda Boyd (Tillie); his wife Marion Boyd (Morrison); his former wife Bernadette Connon-Boyd; his siblings, Russell Boyd and Connie Brown; his brother-in-law Sonny McLellan; and his granddaughter Alicia Boyd Johnston.

He is survived by: his children, Dana Boyd (Carol) of Fredericton, Jeff Boyd (Wandie) of Fredericton, Vicki MacBean (John) of Campbell Settlement, Kevin Boyd (Daphne) of Fredericton, Brent Boyd (Lynn) of Edmonton, AB and Nadine Smith (David) of Fredericton; his siblings, Clayton Boyd (Donna), Rhetta Boyd, Leslie Boyd (Sherry) and Merlene McLellan; and his sister-in-law Esther Boyd. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Willard's honour may be made to York Care Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
