It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Albert Lyle Bone of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Atikokan, Ontario, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Mary Bone; his parents, Wesley Bone and Annette Bone; and his children, Elise McNeil and Douglas Bone.

He is survived by: his children, Bonita Horncastle (Brian) of Fredericton, NB, Patricia Stennick of Fredericton, NB, Deborah Bone of Calgary, AB, Lisa Bone and Daryl Bone; and his siblings, Mel Bone, Norm Bone and Brenda Drennan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
