He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Patterson and Everett Patterson; and his brother George Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Sharyn Patterson of Fredericton; his children, Holly Patterson and Joel Patterson; and his brothers, Stephen (Linda) and Christopher Patterson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
