With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Warren Stocker of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on December 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Marion (Blachford); and his in-laws, Sanford and Eileen. He is survived by: his wife Marg (Smith); his sons, Brent (Morgane) and Brian (Nina); his grandchildren, Eric, Jenna, Blake and Simon; his brothers, Paul (Gerry), Jim (Marsha) and Grant; his sister-in-law Ethel; his niece Sarah; and his nephews, Drew and Kevin.

For those who wish, memorial tributes in Rick's honour may be made to the Chalmers Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be gratefully appreciated.

All of the females in grade nine thought the world of Richard and when we found out he was going to be married, there were five or six of us girls that attended their wedding in the church off of Connaught Street. He was always kind and well respected -- A great man. My condolences to Marg and family.”
