It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Delaney Booker of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Chicoutimi, Québec, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Delancey and Marion Booker (Sayers); and his sister Katherine Anne Greer. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Booker (Thomas); and his children, Laura Booker (Mike) of Ottawa, Sonya Booker (Alex) of Toronto, Phillip Booker III of Halifax, Jennifer Booker (Ryan) of Harvey, Lori Callan (Jerry) of Toronto and George Nadeau (Shannon) of San Antonio. He is also survived by 14 beautiful grandchildren.

Donations may be made to Hospice House Fredericton or the IWK.

“To Marguerite and children: We are so sad as we share in your grief for the loss of Phil, husband and dad. Although we knew this day was coming, we tried to push it away with hope and prayers. God obviously had plans and we must accept that now. You know we love you all very much and are with you in spirit, knowing that it is not physically possible to be there in person for you. He is away now but his love remains. There is nothing left we can say that others have not already said.”
