He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Louis and Rita Kilfoil (MacIsaac); his grandfather Kevin MacIsaac Kilfoil of Johnville; his great-uncle Mario Morales Coronado; and his great-grandparents, Sebastian Melendez Cortez and Maria Cerdas Hernandez.

He is survived by: his parents, Valerie Kilfoil and George Melendez (Jorge Melendez Cerdas); his aunts, Laura (Mike) and Christine (David); his uncle Richard (Cheryl); his grandmother Alicia; his uncle Gustavo; his great-aunt Celina; and his great-uncles, Edgar and Elias.

Due to the COVID pandemic PNB State of Emergency, no visitation or funeral was held at the time of Mac's passing.
