He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Green and Alta Green; and his siblings, Carol Green and Philip Green. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Carter-Green of Fredericton; his children, Shelley Slipp of Rockland, Scott Green of Somerville, Robbie Carter of Fredericton, Ian Carter of Miramichi, Jodi Sobey (Ray) of Miramichi and Lisa Foster (Jay) of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Emily Perkins (Brandon), Megan Munn (Tanner), Rylee Slipp (Keenan Bunting), Jordan Green, Jackson Green, Shayne Green, Jordan Carter, Jennica Lobb-Carter, Jeremiah Sobey (Marylene Parent), Autumn Sobey, Chase Sobey, Tyler Foster and Caitlin Foster; his great grandchildren, Daxton Perkins, Silas Perkins, Nolan Perkins and Carson Munn; his siblings, Bob Green of Woodstock, Linda Brooks (Harold) of Divide, Darlene Green (Terry Graham) of Woodstock, Michael Green (Shirley) of Hartland, Terry Green (Pauline) of Hartland, Marguerite Wortman (Richard) of Hartland, Doug Green (Sheila) of Burnaby, BC, Sandy McLaughlin (Mike Walsh) of Fredericton, Susan Gallivan (Pat) of Woodstock and Sherry Kennedy (Doug) of Richmond Corner; and his sister-in-law Debbie Green of Jacksonville. He is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
