She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Merritt and Joyce Merritt (Donovan); her son Jody Brewer; her grandson Andrew Sowers; her sister Linda McKay; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Martin (Bobby), Robert Quinn and Sam McKay.
She is survived by: her husband William Sowers (Bill); her children, Jason Brewer (Jennifer Thorne), Trudy Robichaud (Ron), Jeremy Sowers (Kristen) and Cindy Sowers; her grandchildren, Matthew, Josh, Jacob, Allyson, Jeremy, Joshua, Janessa, Alex, Kyle, Becca, Dylan, Heidi, Jayden, Gemma, Royce and Liam; and her sisters, Donna (Kenneth) and Debbie Martin (Brian). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
