He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick L Soucy and Adélia Soucy (Levesque); his brother François "Frank" Soucy; and his parents-in-law, Arthé and Mona Bossé of Saint-Basile.

He is survived by: his wife Mariette Soucy (Bossé); his children, Richard (Jennifer Moorcraft) of Saint-Leonard, Päivi Soucy (Rob Taylor) of Ottawa and Danielle Soucy (Michael Whitehurst) of Oromocto; his grandchildren, Jake, Nikolas, Vincent and Terra; his stepgranddaughter Carissa; his siblings, Marie-Rose Soucy of Saint-Leonard, Antoine Soucy of Saint-Leonard, Maurice Soucy (Rachel) of Saint-Leonard, Henri Soucy (Liette Gagné) of Saint-Leonard, Thérèse (Charles Levasseur) of Saint-Basile, Patricia Bossé and Jean-Paul Soucy (Luc Devost) of Saint-Leonard; and his sister-in-law Renette Soucy (late François "Frank") of Saint-Leonard. He is also survived by nieces and, nephews.
