He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Babineau and Régina Babineau; his wife Elizabeth; and his siblings, Yolande Tower and Rodrigue.

He is survived by: his siblings, Léo-Paul (Cécilia) of Scoudouc, Louis (Joanne) of Dieppe, Anna Babineau-Thériault (Maurice) of Moncton and Lina (Roger Arsenault) of Bouctouche; and his stepchildren, Paul Fougère of Montreal, Pierre Fougère (Paulette) of Moncton, Jeannette Landry (Gilles) of Moncton, Cécile Fougère of Moncton, Maurice Fougère (Lynn) of Riverview, Louise Babineau (Mark) of Shediac Bridge and Monique Fougère of Moncton. He is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren and seven great step-grandchildren; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
