With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mykola Sawka (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on April 18, 2021 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mykola Sawka to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mykola and Maria; and his siblings, Hrenyo, Anna and Kasha.

He is survived by : his wife Janina; his daughter Dr. Anna Sawka (Steven Bosnick); his granddaughter Christina Bosnick; his son Dr. Andrew Sawka (Judy Chen); his grandchildren, Justine, Claudia and Andie Sawka; and his nephew Petro Sawka. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

For those wishing to make donations, in lieu of sending flowers, a gift may be given to St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135.
