He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Zonneveld; his son-in-law Jim; and his daughter Mary Lou. He is survived by: his children, Jake, Johanna, Shirley Anne, Neil and John; his grandchildren, Sarah (Danny), Ashley (Josh), Robert, Martin (Breanne), Monty (Mel), Max, Hannah, Josh and Willem; his great grandchildren, Monty Jr., Matteo and Lainey; his sisters, Nelly and Thea; and also Greg Mendro.
