John Horobec Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Horobec of Vita, Manitoba, born in Caliento, Manitoba, who passed away on October 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Horobec to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Horobec and Helen Horobec; his siblings, Marko Koshelanyk (Lena), Walter Koshelanyk, Ostop Koshelanyk, Joe Koshelanyk (Bella), Bill Horobec (Anne), Mike Horobec (Ileen), Paul Horobec, Marie Dziedzic (Kasmir), Ann Ogrodnik (Lawrence) and Stella Wilson (Ansley); his sister-in-law Helen Horobec; and his nieces and nephews, Ed Koshelanyk, Terry Horobec, Christine Koshelanyk and Karen Horobec.

He is survived by: his brother Peter Horobec; and his sister-in-law Diane Horobec of Caliento. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to Covid and family illness, the funeral service and interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.
