He was predeceased by: his grandson Matthew Horn; his parents, Bernice Horn and Rhynard Horn; and his siblings, Jerry, Donald and Mac.

He is survived by: his children, Brent (Maggie), Darcy (Janice), Cheryl (Warren), Darlene (Derek) and Danielle (Cam); his grandchildren, CJ, Jeremy, Eric, Nick, Georgia, Tessa, Lisa, Ryce, Lori, Ethan and Emily; and his siblings, Reg Horn (Linda) and Deanna McKinnon.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
