She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude May and Edward William Hallett; her sister Margaret Brownlie; and her brother-in-law Ronald Brownlie. She is survived by: her children, Heather, Brad (Susan) and Brian (Sandra); her grandchildren, Joe, Pauline (Eric), Mark (Chenoa) and Brenden; and her wife Heather. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
