He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman and Ada; his daughter Arlene; and his sisters, Ethel, Doreen, Emma and Darlene.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his sons, Brian and Warren (Rebecca); and his sisters, Helen Meisner (Harry) and Florence Brown (Colin).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
