Monica Sigurdson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Sigurdson (Stonewall, Manitoba), who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Edith [Chris], Doris, Phyllis [Kris], Marjorie [Steinthor], Mabel [Baldur], Harold, Bud [Addie], Tom [Ellen] and Ray [Veronica]; her husband Gunnar Sigurdson; her son Marshall; her grandson Darcy; her great grandchild Riley; and her son-in-law Ray Solmundson.

She is survived by: her children, Monica Johnson, Shirley Solmundson, Maurice [Sylvia] and Nigel [Signy]; and her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Norma, Ivan, Maureen, Jeff, Eric, Brian, Robert, Clayton and Brandi. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held when Covid restrictions are lifted.
