He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his siblings, Grace Butler of Newfoundland, Lorretta Crawford (Robert) of Ontario and Norman Brake (Bettyann) of Ontario; his daughter Shelly Courtney (Rod) of Teulon; his stepchildren, Glen Nawroski (Shelly) of Woodlands and Kathrine Tarasco of Ontario; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, Kolten Courtney, Madison, Kate Tarasco and Brittany Nawroski; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Carter, Jake, Landyn, Lexi, Deegan and Quinn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
