It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Brurok in Stonewall, Manitoba, born in Gypsumville, Manitoba, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Schmidt and Leah Schmidt; her husbands, Fred Brunger and Eskel Brurok; her son Alfred Brunger; and her siblings, Manfred, Harold, George, Florence and Gertrude.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rita Covernton and Mae Frailich; her sister-in-law Claudia Schmidt; her daughter Marie Baer (Dave) of Calgary; her daughter-in-law Joan Brunger of Waterloo, ON; her sons, Bruce Brunger (Fern) of Teulon and Brian Brunger (Lois) of Calgary, AB; her grandchildren, Philip (Michelle), Eric (Zainab), Kevin (Erin), Jennifer (Paul), Elizabeth (Mark), Grace (Dave), Dan, Luke (Erin), Leah (David), Matthew, Nicholas (Sandra), Rhiannon (Lisa), Alan (Kim) and Brian (Almeda); and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Sarah, Eli, Lucy, Oliver, Henry, Kaleo, Kamea, Heather, Elliot, Emmett, Ryder, Donni, Liam, Callum, Fiona, Allana and Malcolm.
The family wish to thank the Rosewood staff for their compassionate and excellent care and for fielding the many phone calls to her during the Covid-19 pandemic.
