He was predeceased by: his wife Maggie Bertha Parenteau; his sons, Patrice Chartrand Jr., Joshua St and Richard Martin Chartrand; his siblings, Zachary Contois, Phillip Chartrand, Herman Chartrand, Alex Chartrand, Ida Pangman and Cecile Richard; his father-in-law Alphonse Parenteau; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Parenteau, Olga Parenteau, Rose Parenteau and Frances Parenteau.
He is survived by: his children, Lana Chartrand (Louis Bonner), Shirley Moar, Ronald Chartrand (Shirley Genaille), Patsy Moar (Oliver Moar) and Sandra Moar; and his stepson Clifford Parenteau.
