It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Altenburg (Sainte Rose du Lac, Manitoba), born in Crane River, Manitoba, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ranville and Henrietta Ranville; her husband Julien Altenburg; her grandson Cory Altenburg; and her siblings, Mary, Florence, Margaret, Annette, Therese, Rose, Alice, Joseph, Emile, George, Leo, Thomas, Carl, Ernie, Frank, Eli, Fred and Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Henrietta (Brian), Harold (Wendy), John (Annette), Richard (Roxanne), Eric (Donna), David and Mark (Gloria); and her sister Delores "Dolly". She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
