It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Thiessen) Nickel (Grunthal, Manitoba), born in Rosenfeld, Manitoba, who passed away on April 22, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George; her daughters, Nettie, Margaret and Sarah; and her parents, John Thiessen and Sara Thiessen.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Braun (Menno), Bertha Voth (Cornie), John (Mary Anne), Bill (Hilda), Henry (Corinne), Jake (Lena) and Ben (Susan); and her son-in-law Edward. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild, two sisters and three brothers.
