She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Kroeker and Mary Kroeker (Warkentin); and her brother Henry. She is survived by: her husband Peter Janzen; her children, Kimberly (Dennis Friesen) of Steinbach and Scott Janzen of Vancouver, BC; her grandchildren, Gaylyn (Brandon Robins) of Kenora and Jordan Friesen of Fernie, BC; her great grandchildren, Brodi and Asher Robins of Kenora; her siblings, Alvin and Elma; and her sister-in-law Irene.
Due to mobility issues she moved to Bethesda Place Personal Care Home in March 2020 where she contracted COVID-19 and succumbed to it on September 1, 2020.
