He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Bretecher and Alec Bretecher; and his brother-in-law Brian Friesen (Angele). He is survived by: his wife Lucille; his children, Ronald (Chelsea), Maurice (Corrine), Denis (Tammy) and Nicole Jess (Frank); and his sisters, Angele Friesen and Anita Koski (Frank).
