Eldon Kelm Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Kelm of Dauphin, Manitoba, who passed away on May 20, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eldon Kelm to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Kelm; and his parents, Ed Kelm and Elsie Kelm. He is survived by: his children, Lori Doan (Rick), Mark Kelm (Young Ran) and Kristal Haalboom (Ian); his grandchildren, Tess Doan, Ari Haalboom, Tate Haalboom, Emma Haalboom, Hannah Kelm and Sarah Kelm; and his sisters, Marlene Allen (David) and Donna Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He sometimes preached for their chapel services, and the staff told us during our last visit that he would often read the Bible with residents during the pandemic when their own ministers and family couldn't visit.
He shared the same faith as his son, Mark, and was very proud of the work Mark does as the senior chaplain at Union Gospel Mission in Winnipeg, so in lieu of flowers if you so desire we invite you to make a donation to Union Gospel Mission in Winnipeg in dad's name.
