He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Smoke and Marion Smoke; his sister Sharon; his daughter Selina; his nephew Darryl; and his grandson Konye.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald (Louise), Jeff (Tina), Ryan and Laurene; his children, Tara (Derek), Candy (Duke), Jeremy, Owen, Teryl and Spencer (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Kristen, Katie and Corrie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
