He was predeceased by: his parents, August Almey and Angele Almey; his sister Marcella Dousselaere (George); and his brothers-in-law, George Dousselaere and Maurice Lussier.

He is survived by: his sisters, Grace Lussier and Rosalia Tarko; his nephew Gerry Dousselaere (Cheryl); and his nieces, Stephanie Poirier (Gilles), Alyssa Dousselaere (Jeremie Grenier) and Barb (Larry Fluker). He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins.
