He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Thompson and Evelyn Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Sabina Thompson and Dave McMillan. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his daughters, Janet Turner (Gord), Sharon and Dianne; his grandchildren, Kyle Turner (Dione) and Justin Turner (Lorisa); his great grandchildren, Amelia and Brooklyn; and his siblings, Dwight (Louanne), Joanne MacMillan, Heather Agnew-Strang (Mac Strang), Greg and Lois Wedgewood (Rob).
