It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Edwin Smart of Victoria, British Columbia, born in Newmarket, Ontario, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepchildren, Kevin Kendall and LeeAnne Kendall-Kidd; his son Timmy; his sister Joan MacIsaac; and his parents, Edna Smart and Orval Smart.

He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Smart; his children, Dan Smart and Melanie Smart; his granddaughters, Indigo, Neko Smart of Victoria, BC and Lauren Kendall of Halifax, NS; and his brother Jim (Sue) of Ottawa.
