She was predeceased by: her husband Spencer (Chinese); and her son Christopher. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bodenchuk (Frank) and Douglas (Nadine); her grandchildren, Christopher (Kirsten), Franklin Bodenchuk (Natasha), Thomas Bodenchuk, Danae and Bryce; her great grandchildren, Noelle, Indiana and Sawyer; her siblings, Tong Sin Chong, Stanley Tong and Robert Tong (Maria); her sister-in-law Nora Butz (Steven); and her friend Nora. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honour to Victoria Hospice Society.
