She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughie Jong and Louie Non Chip Jong. She is survived by: her significant other Al Harrison; her children, Curtis Bensmiller (Lisa), June (Derek Melton) and Toni (Matt Nicholls); her stepsons, Mike Harrison (Kristina) and Tyler Harrison; her grandchildren, Trace, Mitchell, Gillian, Austin, Brandon, Grayson, Cameron, Rylie, Oliver and Jakov; and her siblings, Allan Jong (Penn), Mary Jong, Joan (Kalvin Krause), Jeannie Jong and Danny Jong (Jenny). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, those wishing to do so, may leave a memorial donation in Margaret's memory to: Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation, the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre, BC Childrens Hospital Foundation, BCSPCA, Ronald McDonald House or the North Okanagan Hospice Society.
